If you know Keith Haring, then you def’ need to know about “Little Angel” LA 2, LA II or LA Rock, 13 yeard old boy Angel Ortiz from LES projects which Haring thought was brilliant and influenced him on mastering grafitti in his conceptual art work. Worst comes to worst, Haring dies, and all the bonding and work collab with LA II was just in Ortiz’s imagination, according to Haring’s foundation. Even though they recognized LA 2’s influence and work, they didn’t accredited it and his legacy still remains as a memory within the art community. It really saddens me the fact that, going through Haring’s gallery and all his work, LA II appears listed and yet, nobody says nothing.
